On the 15th July we had a successful Grand opening, we had visits from many of our supporters including one from our State Member, Mr Peter Russo. Thanks Peter for your support.

Peter is the Queensland Member for Sunnybank and can be reached at sunnybank@parliament.qld.gov.au

29th June we received a huge donation of books and shelving from Mr. Tony Shea of Highgate Hill. Thank you very much Tony.

**********************************************************************

We are now pretty well set up for shelving but we still need more books - especially Children’s and contemporary fiction. If you have any you want to donate please bring them around to 1/17 Chrome St Salisbury.

**********************************************************************

27th June we received our first donation. Thank you Rebecca Starr from Rocklea. Thank you for being the first - please come and visit us again soon.

Later in the day we received donations from one of our greatest supporters, Kelly Pack - thanks Kelly, not just for the books but for all your help. And a nice lady brought in some books in the afternoon, we look forward to seeing you soon.

We would like to acknowledge Mark Ward from Mark Ward Property as a great friend and constant aid, both in his good counsel and generous help. Mark has taken a special interest in our rise from the ashes and has been a great supporter of our project and Salisbury in general.

We would also like to acknowledge our local councilor Steve Griffiths. Steve has been a staunch supporter of our endeavors and we are very grateful for all he has done.

We are working hard to have the book store ready for opening as soon as we can and expect to announce a grand opening date soon.

**********************************************************************

Please keep those donations coming.

And remember that after we have paid off our debts any and all money we earn will be ploughed back into the Salisbury community.

And please remember that our organisation is run exclusively by volunteers - no one gets any money, not one penny to anyone, everything that we earn is for Salisbury, and we all do it with a happy heart.
